On Friday, December 18th, people are encouraged to wear their ugly Christmas sweater of their choice with a $5 donation, with the “Ugly Christmas Sweater Day” serving as a community fundraising campaign to support Footy Promotions Youth Programs.
“Ugly Christmas Sweater Day is a day of light hearted fun and a day to be yourself. Most importantly, Ugly Christmas- Sweater Day is a day to make the holidays fun…the way they were intended to be,” a spokesperson said.
